All visitors are given an educational talk on where opals are found, how they are mined and how to value them. In Melbourne, visitors can view one of Australia's most unique tourist attractions,“The Olympic Australis”, the world’s largest and most valuable gem opal weighing 17,700 carats and valued at A$2,500,000.  In Sydney on display is the world famous black opal "The Aurora Australis"
weighing 180 carats and valued at A$1,000,000.
